Tennessee Department of Correction hosts job, resources fair

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Correction hosted a job and resource fair Thursday.

Held at the T.R. White Sportsplex in Jackson, the fair connected community members with employment opportunities and other resources.

The event was aimed at individuals currently on community supervision, formerly incarcerated, or anyone in need of assistance.

Attendees had access to resources in housing, health and mental health services, education, and legal services. Additionally, employers hiring people with a criminal background were on-site accepting applications.
