AT&T introduces ‘Tree for Trade-In’ campaign to aid wildfire recovery

JACKSON, Tenn. — Earth Day is right around the corner and AT&T has a great way for customers to give back and help California wildfire recovery.

From now until the end of April, every phone, tablet, or device traded-in to AT&T online or in-store will support the planting of a tree in the Placerville Nursery for California wildfire reforestation.

This “Tree for Trade-In” campaign aims to plant 75,000 new trees that will be transplanted into the forests and communities devastated by the most recent Los Angeles wildfires.

“we are all not physically able to make it to California or la to take care of these people personally, but there are old items that we have laying around that we’re not using that we can use to support our ecosystem and to get it back to where it needs to be,” said .

The program is a collaboration between AT&T and Assurant to support the arbor day foundation’s reforestation efforts.
