‘After the Storm’ music festival set for this weekend

SELMER, Tenn. — An upcoming event aims to raise funds for local storm victims.

A music festival being organized by the McNairy County Chamber of Commerce, Brent Malone, and Jimmy Hardin will be held this weekend to support those affected by a recent tornado.

“After the Storm” is taking place on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. at Selmer City Park.

Organizers say you can expect food and a variety of different artists, including Chelsea Rhodes, Life Wind Church, Mississippi Mojo, and more.

“Music starting at 10 and going to 9 that night. We are going to have a lot of good talented artists, not just from West Tennessee, but the surrounding areas as well,” said Jimmy Hardin, sound engineer for event.

Organizers say 100% of the proceeds benefit Selmer tornado victims.
