Elks Lodge #192 recognizes local students as ‘Scouts of the Year’
PRESS RELASE FROM JACKSON ELKS LODGE #192:
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Elks Lodge #192 has recognized two outstanding young citizens who exemplify Scouting in every way.
Scouting teaches our youth how to be good, responsible citizens.
Johnia Hudson, a senior, is the 2024- 2025 Girl Scout of the Year. She attends JCM Early College High School and Jackson State Community College and is a Girl Scout Troop #40099 member.

Her parents are Lashena and John Hudson of Jackson.
Preston G. Smith, a senior, has been recognized as the 2024-2025 Eagle Scout of the Year. He attends Jackson Christian School and is a member of Troop #203. After graduation, Preston plans to attend the Tennessee Fire Service and Codes Enforcement Academy.
