Visitors learn about snakes at Pinson Mounds Archeological Park

PINSON, Tenn.—If you are a fan of reptiles, Pinson Mounds Archeological Park has the perfect event.

A unique snake educational event was held Sunday between 2 to 3 pm.

Visitors to the park could meet a very special resident, Sakima the Kingsnake.

Ranger Madlyn was on hand to talk more about Sakima and other Tennessee snakes.

This event is provided by Pinson Mounds Park to help visitors get familiar with the reptiles and learn about their importance to the local ecosystem.
