Early voting begins in Bolivar
BOLIVAR, Tenn. – Early voting began Wednesday, April 30, in Bolivar for the city elections. The Bolivar city mayor and several city council positions are on the ballot.
Most of the candidates are running unopposed.
City Mayor Julian McTizic and council members Melvin Golden, Tommie Woods, and Suzanne Rhea are running unopposed.
The only contested position is for city council seat District B Position 4. Candidates for that seat are Michael Brown and Gwenda Woods.
Early voting started April 30 and runs through May 15. The election is on May 20.
