Sun/Cloud Mix Again Today

Weather Update: Monday, May 5 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. No significant changes to the forecast today. We’re still dealing with clouds associated with the upper low centered around Bowling Green, Kentucky this morning. The good news is that the low is moving away, but it will still take most of the day for clouds to break up north of I-40. south of it, its possible we will see temps punch into the upper 60s. The low is associated with the larger synoptic pattern across much of the country, known better as an Omega Block.  The western leg of the Omega Block will approach West Tennessee through mid week spreading showers and perhaps a few afternoon storms, especially Wednesday.
