Annual career expo kicks off in downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s time once again for the 2025 Spring Career Expo!

This event was sponsored by the Tennessee Army National Guard and WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News.

Potential new employers were encouraged to bring many copies of their resume to the Carl Perkins Civic Center and dress in professional attire.

There were hundreds of positions available and the chance to connect with more than 50 employers. This event was free to the public!

“Our career expo page will still be up on our websites for another week. So you can look at any of our station websites, WYD 106.9, STAR 107.7, and there are lists on there of everybody that is hiring,” said Katie Doherty, event coordinator for Thomas Media.

The next career expo will be September 9.
