Drug Task Force seizes suitcase connected to armed robbery in Nashville
PRESS RELEASE FROM WEST TN DRUG TASK FORCE:
SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Agents with the 30th District out of Memphis were conducting criminal interdiction operations this past Tuesday morning when they came across a suitcase that contained several thousand dollars in cash along with some 7-11 deposit bags and slips.
Agents seized the suitcase for further investigation. Upon further investigation Agents were able to determine the cash had been stolen in an armed robbery in Nashville approximately 6 hours earlier.
Agents have identified at least one suspect and are working closely with Metro Nashville Robbery Detectives to return the cash to the victim and arrest all persons involved.
No further details will be released at this time while the investigation continues.
