Humboldt Public Library presented with $200k grant

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — One local library receives a grant for construction.

State leaders presented a $200,000 library construction grant to the Humboldt Public Library.

The presentation took place near the end of the Governor’s Luncheon that’s a part of the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival.

Funding will help cover the construction cost of a new 1,800-square-foot children’s department, including a new children’s materials section, children’s computers, storage room, and kitchen prep area.
