Elk’s Lodge #192 host fundraiser for Scarlet Rope Project

JACKSON, Tenn.,—One local organization hosts a fun sporting event to raise money for a great cause.

Elk Lodge # 192 located at 28 Executive Drive in Jackson hosted a cornhole tournament this afternoon.

The competition began at 4 and cost to enter was $10 for individuals and $20 for teams.

Prizes were awarded to winners and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Scarlet Rope Project.

The Scarlet Rope Project is a faith based non-profit that focuses on helping victims of sex trafficking.

“This is a recurring fundraiser that we do. We’ve been doing it several years now. At this particular event, we have been donating to the Scarlet Rope Project,” said Phil Templeton, Chairman for Elk’s Lodge #192.

The next fundraiser hosted at the Elk’s Lodge will be the Dueling Pianos night on May 17.
