TWRA offers in-person boater education course
JACKSON, Tenn.—Officers from the TWRA pay a visit to one local school to teach individuals some important watercraft safety.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency presented a boaters education class at South Side High School in Jackson.
The training was held from 9 in the morning until noon and registered participants 12-years and older were permitted to take part.
During the training, participants learned all about boating safety and were also administered the official exam at the end.
Tennessee law requires any individual born after January 1, 1989 to complete a boaters education course to legally operate a motorized vessel on state waterways.
