Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy held in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—Poe fans had the opportunity to check out a unique event.

The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy took place this weekend in Jackson. The event was held at Premiere Place Event Venue with show times starting at 4 and 6 in the evening.

The two-day event is marked by an immersive experience meant to transport guests back in time.

There were handcrafted cocktails based on the dark works of Poe and historians to tell four stories by the writer.

The unique event was definitely a way for fans of Poe to experience his writing in a full sensory experience.
