Thunderbolts’ and ‘Sinners’ top box office charts once more
(AP)—Marvel’s “Thunderbolts” and Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” are dominating the North American box office charts again. According to studio estimates on Sunday, “Thunderbolts” took first place, with $33.1 million in its second weekend in theaters in the U.S. and Canada.

“Sinners” added $21.1 million in its fourth weekend, crossing the $200 million mark domestically. It was a relatively quiet weekend, but the year-to-date box office is still up about 16% from last year.
Next week, “Final Destination: Bloodlines” should give the marketplace a jolt before “Lilo & Stitch” and “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” arrive over Memorial Day.
