Flint Cox Golf Invitational kicks off in Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — 40 teams of 4 golfers took to the Humboldt Country Club for the Flint Cox Golf Invitational earlier Monday.
Tee times were at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. There was also a hole-in-one contest, closest-to-the-pin and a putting contest. The day was promised to be filled with competition, camaraderie and action.
We spoke with STAR Center President Jennifer Graves for more about the event.
“As we look out and see all these people and all these teams; these people that are friends with the Cox family, these people that are friends with the STAR Center all here for one cause,” said Graves.
That cause is helping people with disabilities reach their full potential.
