Middle School Rocks to host two summer camps in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Two summer camps for middle schoolers are now open for registration.

Middle School Rocks is hosting two summer camps this year.

The transition camp for current 5th graders heading into 6th grade will be held July 14-18 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Unity Temple Church in Jackson.

The other camp is for middle schoolers ages 12-14. This will be held June 9-13 from from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., also at Unity Temple.

Each camp will have academic and physical fitness activities, provide lunch and be tailored appropriately to each age group.

“All of the parents in the Jackson area; the greater Jackson area that are looking for something constructive for their child to do this summer that will enable them and enhance them to do better in middle school in the fall,” said Dr. Tenganyike Cook with Middle School Rocks.
