Several vehicle burglaries reported in Hardeman Co. area

Parts of Bolivar and Toone had several vehicles burglarized last night. The suspects are checking unlocked vehicles and stealing whatever may be valuable inside of them.

Please be sure to lock your vehicles at night. Do not leave electronics, money, or weapons inside your vehicle at night as well. These are items they are looking to steal.

We have not had any reports of this happening in Whiteville but these incidents seem to trickle into every neighborhood.

Make sure you have plenty of outside lighting and if you have cameras set them to record on motion.
