That’s after West Tennessee Healthcare reported a fourfold return on investments since implementing Qventus, an AI-powered software platform that automates operations for hospitals and health systems, helping teams make better decisions in real time.
With this type of software available for surgeons, West Tennessee was able to drive 9% growth in orthopedic services, and within the first 100 days, added 61 cases to its schedule from independent surgeons and clinic schedulers who were able to find and book operations within minutes.

“Trying to find time for that patient so that they can get the care that the need,” said Melissa Hayden, Executive Director of Surgical Services at West Tennessee Healthcare. “It is in place in Jackson. We’ve been using it for about a year. We’ve been pleased with that partnership. I think it has worked well. Our surgeons are pleased. They are able to on their phone or device; if they have a patient sitting with them that needs about a two hour window of time for surgery, they can look and see when that best availability is for that patient, which is huge.”
For more than a decade, Qventus has been at the forefront as a provider of AI-based software in operating rooms.
