City of Dresden celebrates grand opening of Municipal Complex
DRESDEN, Tenn.—One local city celebrates the grand opening of its new facility.
The City of Dresden hosted a grand opening Sunday for its new Municipal Complex.
The facility located at 117 West Main Street in Dresden has been under construction since 2023.
The recently completed building is the new home for several city departments including the Dresden Police Department, Dresden Fire Department, multiple city hall offices and a large community board room.
The public was invited to come out and enjoy the event which took place from 2 to 4 in the evening.
Among those in attendance included the Mayor Mark Maddox, City Alderman, and several other local leaders, guests and friends.
The new facility was built to replace the original building that was destroyed by an E-3 tornado back in 2021.
