RIFA talks upcoming ministries at Jackson Rotary meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Rotary Club hosts a guest speaker from a local nonprofit.

The Jackson Rotary Club welcomed Denice Walton, director of development at RIFA, who spoke about some of the upcoming ministries they will be providing soon.

Starting next Tuesday, May 27 they will be rolling out their Bus Stop Cafe.

This provides kids 18-years-old and younger lunches that they may not get otherwise during summer break.

“There is a sweet fellowship for sure and there just is. They’re always excited to see the bus and they come running. The folks who are on the bus are just grateful to see their little faces every single day as well. It is a really neat ministry that RIFA has,” said Walton.

RIFA provides for the community everyday and is always looking for volunteers. For more information and to donate, click here.
