What’s New Wednesday: Taylor Laine Boutique Shoppes

JACKSON, Tenn. — Taylor Laine Boutique is celebrating its first year anniversary this month.

Located in downtown Jackson, the business is a vendor-based boutique that houses up to 21 different sellers.

Co-owner Lainey Hays tells us that they specialize in women’s clothing and accessories, but shoppers can also find gifts for just about anyone.

“Yeah, we just treat it like it’s one big store,” Hays said. “I mean, you come in, I ask what you’re looking for, we help you find the perfect outfit, you could buy something from one vendor and then walk five steps and find the shirt to your pants at another vendor. You can buy candles, you can buy children’s clothing, toys, you can curate a little gift or an outfit from 21 different people.”

Hays co-owns the boutique with her mother, and says that the idea for the business came from a shared passion.

“My mom and I are very passionate about small business ownership and entrepreneurship, and so we kind of came up with the idea because we love the idea of small businesses being able to have a head start,” said Hays.

Hays says that for new vendors, joining a shared space can be a great way to get off the ground and help with the financial hurdle of operating their own brick and mortar location.

And for those who may be interested, Hays tells us that they are always on the lookout for new vendors and opportunities.

“So if you’re looking to expand your small business, or if you’re looking to just put your foot in the door with it, then reach out to us and we can get you started and send you some information,” Hays said.

Taylor Laine Boutique is located at 111 North Liberty Street in downtown Jackson.

They’re open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturdays — however, hours are sometime extended amid holidays and special occassions.
