Alzheimer’s Association Corporate Leadership Luncheon held at Chamber
JACKSON, Tenn. — Local leaders, organizations, and businesses gathered together at the Greater Jackson Chamber Thursday afternoon to talk about a yearly event.
It was the Alzheimer’s Association corporate leadership luncheon.
The goal behind this meeting was to bring people together to talk about how they could get involved in the next Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
They were able to hear from corporate sponsor representatives, board members of the Alzheimer’s Associations, and how the association helps families.
There is still plenty of time to sign up as a sponsor or to sign up for the walk itself.
We were able to speak with Don Schwartz, the manager of the walk, about how the involvement has been over the past few years.
“It has really been great,” Schwartz said. “We had over 200 people at last year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s here in Jackson. Certainly that includes businesses that have booths at our event, have teams at our event, that sponsor our event. So we have definitely had a lot of great support. But it is a disease that is growing in numbers.”
