theCO to host 2 events designed for local entrepreneurs

THECO TO HOST LOCAL EVENTS TO HELP WEST TN ENTREPRENEURS “FIND THEIR FUNDING” IN JACKSON AND PARIS THIS JUNE 

Jackson, Tenn. (May 22, 2025)- During the month of June, theCO will host two “Finding Your Funding” events that will feature engaging panel discussions designed to equip business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and connections to grow their businesses right here in West Tennessee. The Jackson, Tenn. event will take place on June 10 at 5pm and the Paris, Tenn. event will take place on June 17 at 12pm. 

Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or an established business owner, Finding Your Funding is your chance to connect with others, ask questions, and get inspired to take your next step. The panelists will include Avery McConkey, Capital Associate at LaunchTN, Jarlecia Jones, Vice President of Lending for West Tennessee at Pathway Lending, and a local entrepreneur who has successfully secured funding here in our community. 

“We know the process of securing capital for the next level of business growth can be intimidating. The goal of these events is to demystify the process so entrepreneurs feel less barriers to moving onward and upward,” Lisa Garner, CEO of theCO said. 

Together, these events aim to shine a spotlight on the funding opportunities and business resources available to founders in West Tennessee. Attendees can expect an informative discussion focused on venture capital and business loans. A separate, grant-specific session is planned for later this year. 

The Jackson event is hosted by theCO, the Southwest Tennessee Entrepreneur Center and InvestTN representative for a multi-county region. The Paris event is presented in partnership with The Mill Workspace and Paris Station. The Mill is part of the Launch Tennessee network and serves as the Northwest Tennessee entrepreneur center.
