Opening night held for ‘The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance’

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Hub City Theatre Company brings up the curtain on its latest production.

Friday night, attendees came out to the Carnegie Center for Arts and History for opening night of “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.”

It’s a gripping western drama that delves into themes of justice, identity, and sacrifice.

Based on the short story that inspired the iconic 1962 film, a young scholar arrives in the wild, unforgiving town of two trees, and is quickly faced with a brutal choice: stand by the law or stand up to a notorious outlaw.

If you missed Friday night’s performance, there are more performances scheduled this weekend and next weekend.

The Carnegie Center for Arts and History is located at 305 East College Street in downtown Jackson. For show times, click here.
