‘Abandoned’ musical coming to Northside Church

JACKSON, Tenn. — The stage is set at a local church as they prepare for an original performance.

“Abandoned,” a powerful original musical that explores the burdens of the past and the healing found in God’s grace, is coming to Northside Church.

The story follows a young man named Paul, who abandons his old life in the early 1970’s when he returns from Vietnam. All admission is free, and the community is warmly invited.

“It’s open to the community and it’s entirely free. We do provide a nursery so if people have small children and they want to come they can take advantage of that. The shows are Friday night and Saturday night at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday–we have a matinee at 6 p.m.,” said Millie Hayes, director of worship arts and music at Northside Church.

Group reservations are available now for parties of 10 or more. For more information and to book a ticket, click here.
