Criminal investigation underway for arson at vacant house

CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY FOR ARSON AT VACANT HOUSE

ALAMO, Tennessee – The Alamo Police Department is currently investigating an arson incident that occurred earlier tonight at a vacant house located at 180 N. Johnson St. Upon receiving a 911 call at 9:48 PM, our officers and firefighters responded promptly to the scene. The Bells Fire Department, Friendship Fire Department, Crockett County EMS, Crockett County EMA, and the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department responded to assist.
At this time, we are treating this incident as an arson, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office have been notified to assist in the investigation. The Alamo Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our community and conducting a thorough investigation of this crime.
