Card skimmer found at Piggly Wiggly, police say

UPDATE: Police say one of these skimmers was also discovered at the Adamsville Piggly Wiggly on Thursday.
Card Skimmer Alert – Piggly Wiggly, Savannah, TN
On May 29, 2025, a card skimmer was discovered on one of the registers at Piggly Wiggly in Savannah. Savannah Police responded and have confiscated the device.
At this time, it is unknown how long the skimmer was in place. Investigators are reviewing security footage to determine when it was installed.
If you recently used your card at this location, please monitor your account for suspicious activity. Report any discrepancies to your bank and contact the Savannah Police Department immediately.
