Organizations team up to provide mental health support to rural residents
ALAMO, Tenn. — Pathways has teamed up with the Crockett County Health Department and the Tennessee Department of Health to provide easily accessible mental health support.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, a ribbon cutting was held to signify this partnership.
Crockett County residents can visit their local health department to receive integrated care, tackling their physical and mental health needs.
A therapist and case manager will be available on site, offering services including screenings for depression and anxiety, therapy services for all ages and much more.
“We want to be able to meet them where they are instead of have them go outside of their county to get the services that they need,” said Kim Parker, director of Pathways.
