Obituary
Tyrone Spencer Herron, age 69, was born on July 31, 1955, to the late Alexander Leon Herron and Mattie Sue (Spencer) Herron. He peacefully departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Pine Meadows Health Care Center, in Bolivar TN.
He was the proud father of one son, Tyrone Herron Jr., of Knoxville, TN., a loving grandfather of two cherished grandchildren, Kendyle Herron and Tydra Herron, and a beloved brother to Barbara Jean Herron and Jeanette Herron of Nashville, TN., Augustine (John) King of Hendersonville, TN., James Herron of Houston, TX., and Amy (Clement) Ogbomo of Ruckersville, VA
He is preceaded in death by his beloved parents and beloved sister, the late Cathy Sue Towles (Barry) who departed this life on February 28, 2024)
He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Tyrone was a true outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, hunting, and gardening. His love of nature reflected his calm and peaceful spirit. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he found fellowship and spiritual strength.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the nursing and hospice staff at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center for providing their compassionate care, and to the many friends who visited and spent time with him during his final days.
He will be remembered always for his quiet strength, generous heart, and deep love for family and nature.
