Man charged with DUI, vehicular homicide in crash that killed father, two sons
JACKSON, Tenn. — The suspect involved in a crash that killed three last year is in custody.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol previously confirmed that on October 26, 2024, 29-year-old Justin Nerren, along with his two and three-year-old sons, were killed in a crash near the 3,000 block of Beech Bluff Road in Madison County.

The preliminary report stated that Nerren, the two children, and 26-year-old Jordan Kinman were travelling on a UTV when they collided with a Lincoln MKZ operated by 49-year-old Shawn Thomas Oakley.
According to booking information provided by the Madison County jail, Oakley was booked into the jail shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 3.
Booking details show charges including violation of probation, three counts of vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, vehicular assault, driving under the influence, and failure to maintain lane.
