JMCSS News Alert: Vehicle fire contained at North Side
Earlier today [June 4, 2025] , a staff member’s vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of North Side High School. The Jackson Fire Department responded promptly, and the situation was contained without any damage to the school building.

All students and summer school staff were evacuated safely in accordance with the school’s fire safety plan. There were no injuries reported, and Summer School activities have since resumed on a normal schedule.
