What’s New Wednesday: Paws Yall Grooming
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Paws Yall Grooming opened in downtown Lexington this past April.
Co-Owners Brittny Neisler and Anna Gill say that after meeting at a former job, they decided to join forces and combine their years of experience in dog grooming.
Their salon offers traditional grooming services for dogs of all sizes, along with specialty services for those in need of some extra care.
“We have shampoo that is designed for all kinds of different issues, as in like allergies, sensitivities, dry skin, we offer it all — oatmeal,” Neisler said.
“Shedding,” Gill added.
“Shedding, yes, we specialize in de-shedding, like the double-coated, triple-coated dogs,” Neisler explained.
The pair say that Paws Yall aims to cater to everyone, and they are open to special requests and scheduling needs. This extends to treating dogs that may be older or nervous with the proper care, and this loving environment is what helps them stand out.
“We definitely strive for the comfortability here,” said Neisler. “We don’t force dogs, we really want to work with the dogs, make them comfortable, because it’s something that they need to do for the rest of their life, you know? So it’s not about the money to us — it’s about the comfort.”
Neisler and Gill have enjoyed bringing their services to downtown Lexington, and say the community has been very supportive of their venture.
“I mean everyone has been so friendly, so kind, and they’ve been encouraging, you know, going out of their way to help us,” Gill said. “I’m not from Lexington, and so it’s just this huge difference here in a small town, just the people are out of this world amazing.”
