Crockett County deputy receives Letter of Commendation for heroic efforts

We are proud to recognize Deputy Andy Javier for his quick thinking and exceptional bravery! Today, Sheriff Troy Klyce presented Deputy Javier with a letter of commendation for saving the life of a citizen who was choking.

This incredible act of heroism exemplifies the dedication and commitment that our deputies have for the safety and well-being of our community. Deputy Javier’s prompt response and training made all the difference in this life-saving situation.

The citizen was so happy after the foreign object was dislodged – he was crying and overcome with gratitude for Deputy Javier.
