Local pickleball teams get ready for State Games of Tennessee

JACKSON, Tenn. — The predicted weather didn’t keep some of the area’s athletes from preparing for this weekend’s big games.

Pickleball teams were at Conger Park getting in some practice time before they hit the court in competition Saturday.

The tournament will be held at Conger Park with 18 pickleball courts.

The games will be in round robin format with possible medal rounds for gold, silver, and bronze.

The pickleball tournament is only one of several tournaments and competitions that will take place during the State Games this weekend.
