POLL RESULTS: Timing of Public City Meetings
The City of Jackson holds several regular meetings that are open to the public, such as the monthly City Council meeting, which is typically held at 9 a.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
With that timing in mind, we asked Jackson residents if they felt that the city’s public meetings should be held later in the evening (such as 5 p.m. or later), allowing those who work regular business hours the opportunity to attend.
Here are the results:
- Yes (77%)
- No (23%)
