STAR Center holds community job and resource fair
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local job fair with even more career opportunities took place Friday.
The STAR Center‘s employment fair took place from 9 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
The event was held at Center, located on 1119 Old Humboldt Road.
There were a variety of employer booths set up, such as West Tennessee Healthcare, Leaders Credit Union, and of course, The STAR Center.
“I hope that they walk away with some opportunities,” said Allison Berry, Director of Employment Services, The STAR Center. “We have a space where they can do interviews on the spot if it’s a good match. you know, we want to make sure we have both good matches with the employee and the employer, and if that happens today, then that’s great.”
The job fair will also had opportunities for vocational rehabilitation.
