Bobbie Faye Stanfill Barnett
Services for Bobbie Faye Stanfill Barnett, 98 of Jackson will be held at 11:00 A.M. on June 9, 2025 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Bro. Mark Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
Faye passed peacefully at home on June 3, 2025. Mrs. Barnett was born on September 17, 1926, in Jacks Creek, TN the daughter of the late Lon D. Stanfill and Avorilla Trice Stanfill. Faye was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of East Union Baptist Church and Community until her health declined. Mrs. Barnett loved the Lord and tenderly cared for her family, friends, and neighbors with the sweetest disposition and most generous spirit. She loved selflessly and unconditionally, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her children Tony Barnett (Charlene), Rilla Staples (Randy), daughter-in-law (Vicki Barnett), Amber Jackson (Lynn); grandchildren Michelle Stamey, Blake Staples, Brooke Pugh (Thomas), Lauren Hatley (Marc), Colin Barnett, Evan Barnett (Theresa), and Jake Fain (Erin). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Ray Barnett; her sons, Ricky Barnett and Robin Barnett; sisters Lonnie Earle Hudson, Allie Williams, Ima Hartley, and brother Joe Trice Stanfill.
Pallbearers to serve are her grandsons: Blake Staples, Colin Barnett, Evan Barnett, Jake Fain; sons-in-law Randy Staples, Lynn Jackson; and nephews Jim Williams and Bill Williams.
Mrs. Barnett’s family is eternally grateful to the loving caregivers she had throughout the years.
A visitation with the family will be on June 9, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
