Adamsville Water System issues boil water notice
FROM THE ADAMSVILLE WATER SYSTEM 6/9/25:
Precautionary Boil Water Notice
Due to a Main water line leak at the park a precautionary Boil water notice is being issued for all of Adamsville, Crump and Leapwood. If you still have water pressure or when it is restored, please follow the guidelines of this notice. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is a measure that we must enforce for the health and safety of our customers. The C.D.C. recommends you boil water at 212 degrees for three minutes.
- Prior to boiling, the water should be strained through a clean cloth to remove any sediment or floating material.
- The water should then be heated to a vigorous boil, and the rolling boil should be for one minute to ensure disinfection.
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of Water Resources in the Jackson Environmental Field Office and Nashville, TN have been notified and made aware of this situation and this Precautionary Boil Water Notice.
