Jackson Police accepting applications for Citizen Police Academy
FROM THE JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT:
The City of Jackson Police Department is now accepting pre-applications for the Fall 2025 [Citizen Police Academy] class.
If you have ever been interested in learning about the Jackson Police Department, now is your chance.
First come, first serve! Go to https://www.jacksontn.gov/government/publicsafety/police/citizen_engagement fill out the Pre-Application. Limited spots available.
- Eight-week training Meet every Tuesday night 6pm-8pm
- Must be 21 years of age to participate
Note: Eligibility for this program cannot be considered if any of the following apply:
- Felony Conviction
- A or B Misdemeanor Conviction
- Any Drug Conviction
- Domestic Assault Conviction
- Any Active Warrants
All applicants will be notified by email of the next steps in the application process once applications close.
