Nick Summar is the director of Youth Town.

Nick graduated with a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Lambuth University.

He has been working in the mental health field for over 17 years.

He now operates as the Chief Operating Officer at Youth Town, supervising compliance, licensing, accreditation, program oversight, finances, and staff management to ensure growth for the company.

A key focus in Summar’s message was about the new Refuge center coming to Jackson.

“At The Refuge, we will serve children, youth, and adults,” Summar said. “We started with the south location two years ago and it’s gone really well, and so now we are going to branch the north location, July 1. We have got two new therapists that are going to be heading that up, and then we got a contract therapist, so it’s brand new.”

Youth Town is a residential treatment facility serving at-risk youth between 12-17-years-old within a Christian environment in Pinson and Beech Bluff.
