Hwy 70 Yard Sale returns with another weekend of deals and unique finds

JACKSON, Tenn. — Whether you’re looking for something vintage or some great deals, the Highway 70 Yard Sale is the place to be this weekend.

Starting Thursday and going all the way through Saturday, along Highway 70 from Memphis to Nashville, there will be several yard sales set up with some amazing deals.

“There’s such a large variety, and there’s so many vendors along both sides of the way that you can stop anywhere and find something really cool and different, lots of variety, and the thing of it is, there’s no tariffs,” said Antique Mafia vendor Ellen Baxter.

Hundreds of people stopped along the highway for home décor, furniture, clothing, and more.

This is an annual event that has been going on for over two decades.

“I’ve not been, I’ve not been on this trip ever,” said shopper Tabby Castellaw. “I’ve not heard about it until this year, and I’m sad I missed it for the past 15 years.”

“I’ve been coming to this for eight years now,” said shopper Haley Logan. “Each year is amazing, I’ve gotten my son — whenever I was pregnant — I got all of his baby stuff here.”

As you come out to enjoy the sale, remember to travel with caution as pedestrians may be crossing the street.

“We come up here, we see a lot of the same people that are like friends to us, and we just enjoy the community, the camaraderie,” said Leslie Center, Owner, Farmers Daughter Estate Sales.

“I believe you would enjoy yourself, even if you don’t find anything that you need, you’ll find something that you want,” said Cassie, another shopper.

If you missed the sale on Thursday, don’t worry. Vendors will be out Friday and Saturday with more finds, and there will also be food trucks.
