Man killed in train collision, police confirm

38-year-old white male from Huntingdon Tennessee, subject is known to be hearing impaired was crossing the tracks in the King Street area of Huntingdon.

Train was running just under their speed limit if 25 mph through town.

Subject was struck and died from his injuries.

Identify withheld until family is notified and all arraignments are made.

Huntingdon Police Department wants to thank Huntingdon Fire Department, CSX Railroad, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Baptist Hospital, Ambulance, Medical Examiner, Carroll County EMA and others that assisted.

Our hearts go out to this young man’s family during this tragic event.
