Dyersburg Police Dept. warns car owners of theft

DYERSBURG, Tenn.—According to the Dyersburg Police Department, overnight two Kia Optima owners were targeted by car thieves.

The department took to social media earlier today posting a warning for residents to stay alert in the area.

The post stated that two separate incidents occurred overnight Friday with two different Kia Optima owners’ vehicles being stolen.

The thieves are using a method in which a key is not needed to quickly take these vehicle models.
