Let’s start the week off with Jackson Christian school. As their
football team is preparing for the upcoming season.The eagles are coming off a season where
they were 5-0 in the district and only lost one game
in the regular season. In the postseason they advance to the
second round after a win over Grace Christian academy with a final
of 34 to 7. But, then would see their championship hopes come to an end
as they lost to Nashville Christian with a final of 62 to 34.Their overall record was 10-2 now this season brings new challenges for Jackson Christian as they will be without
their Mr Football winner and star wideout Jaylen Mosley and one of the best
passers in eagles history in Austin Kelley. However,
we were able to catch up with head coach Darby Palmer and he spoke to the type of team they will have this year and the motto for the season take a listen.
their helping each other they coaching each other up and is a lot of are older guys that are coaching up are younger guys which is great and thats what you want to see within your program.
I would like to say that we just have alot of football players guys with high football I.Q. guys that can play both sides of the ball and do it well. We talk about it every single day its a day by day mentality we have three pillars in our program thats love serve and care and we try to be great teammates every single day and put other people before ourselves and these guys have modeled that and demonstrated that were excited about A what they’ve done but B what they can do in the future.”
