UPDATE: Gas release resolved in Hardin County

ALL CLEAR: The gas release has been resolved. The area is now clear and back open to traffic. The reason for the precautionary evacuation measure was to protect those within the area in case things made a turn for the worse before the issue could be resolved.

HCECD 911: CAUTION: AIRPORT MARKET AREA – HWY 226 & HWY 69 Gas release. Roadways are closed. All traffic is being rerouted – AVOID THE AREA

We currently have a gas release.
Everyone within a half mile radius needs to evacuate as a precaution.
Maddox/Dodd area, industrial park, airport area and up to Morgan Ross Road.
The roadways withinh this area are closed.
All traffic is being rerouted.
