Summer officially kicks off with Summer Concert Series at ‘The Amp’

JACKSON, Tenn.–Home grown music to help kick off summer. It was another outdoor concert as The Amp’s Summer Concert series continues.

The music was rockin’ in downtown Jackson with Friday night’s featured artist “Small Shack”.
Attendees could bring their lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the music under the stars.

Also Friday evening,  one audience member was awarded a $ 1,000 scholarship to attend Jackson State Community College.
The scholarship is transferable to another family member .

The next featured summer concert at The Amp will be July 25 with the “Jimmy Church Band”.
Several more concerts are scheduled through September.
