Dangerous Heat Continues Isolated Downpours Possible

Weather Update: Tuesday, June 24 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. Another dangerously hot and humid day is on the docket for today. Try to limit strenuous outdoor activity to this morning before 11:00 AM or late this evening after 6:30 PM. Temperatures will move quickly under this mid-level ridge through the 70s and 80s and likely 90°F by Lunchtime. Like yesterday however we expected isolated/clusters of storms that will be very much water-logged.

In short, they will put down very heavy rain in short order hyper-locally, some locations will easily pick up between 1-3 inches of rain. But I want to emphasis this will be hyperlocal not everyone will receive rain today!
