U.S. Marshals arrest man involved in Jackson park shooting
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE U.S. MARSHALS SERVICE:
Jackson, TN –Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) arrested Jaylan Harrison, 18, for Reckless Endangerment in connection to a shooting at Kate Campbell Robertson Park in Jackson.
At approximately 8:40 p.m., on May 24, 2025, Jackson Police Officers responded to a shooting inside the park on Flex Drive. Based on the investigation by JPD, there was a gathering of at least 50 people at a party. A fight broke out and shots were fired, resulting in seven people receiving non-fatal injuries from gunshots, including Harrison.
Jackson Police Investigators determined that Harrison fired a gun multiple times but did not shoot anyone. A warrant was issued in Jackson City Court for Reckless Endangerment.
On June 24, 2025, the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force and Jackson Police went to a residence in the 400 block of Gettysburg Drive in Jackson to arrest Harrison. He was located inside, taken into custody and transported to the Madison County Jail.
