Hardin Co. Chamber of Commerce celebrates community with 29th ‘Distinguished Service Awards’
SAVANNAH, Tenn. — One local chamber honor individuals, organizations and their community with a special awards ceremony.
Thursday, the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce hosted their 29th annual Distinguished Service Awards at the Hardin County High School. In total, they gave out 15 awards including Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and more.
“We’re having a record breaking year–our largest in chamber history. 65 tables and over 520 people and I think that shows the heart of our community and how much they want to celebrate all of the hard work that takes place and the people that dedicate countless hours and time, and it’s just something really special for us to be able to host,” said Delaney Timberman Martin, executive director for Hardin County Chamber of Commerce.
Next year the chamber will be celebrating 30 years but nothing has been planned for the accusation.
