Carroll County Humane Society hosts bingo night fundraiser
CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — Residents in one local town put on their best outfits for a special bingo night.
Residents gathered at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntington for the “There’s Nowhere to go But Bingo” fundraiser.
This event was put on by the Carroll County Humane Society and all the proceeds went towards their animal shelter.
They had door prizes, raffle items, a prize wheel, and of course, plenty of bingo rounds.
“We’re hosting one of our bingo [games]. We do maybe about 4 a year, [that] is roughly what we do, and this is our summer one. The Carroll County Humane Society is a nonprofit; we work solely off donations, so fundraisers is a big source of our income,” said Crystal King, vice president for CCHS.
Attendees were also encouraged to wear their best attire, and they even held an outfit contest for the best dressed.
